How to Cope With Chemotherapy Induced Hair Loss

Hair Loss Chemotherapy
Patients who are going through chemotherapy will typically experience the first phase of losing their hair within a few weeks of the first treatment. Over the next four to eight weeks, they will experience a massive loss of hair, if not all of it.

Very few patients are lucky enough to hold on to their hair during treatment, however, there are a lucky few that experience very little side effects in terms of hair loss and can finish their chemotherapy treatments while holding onto their hair.

TV on MY PC

Monday, March 26th, 2007

Since I got TV on my PC I find it hard to believe the amount of money that I have saved compared to when I was paying the monthly fees for cable.

Whats more, I did not need to purchase any new hardware or other equipment, because the TV channels are streamed right through your existing internet connection.

It even works with a 56k connection, but broadband delivers superior reception and quality. I just installed the program and in mere seconds was instantly watching International satellite channels on my PC!

New Remedies for Hair Loss

Saturday, March 24th, 2007

I have been reviewing remedies and treatments for hair loss for quite some time.

After checking feedback from users and looking at actual results, there appear to be two hair loss remedies that work.

The first is suitable for both men and women, while the latter treatment is just for male hair loss.
The remedy for both men and women is hailed as “The Most Important Hair
Loss Discovery of our time.” although those are not my words.
There is evidence that it has received acclaim from doctors belonging to both the medical and alternative groups., and it is reported to have stopped hair loss and strengthened and restored thinning hair by natural means.

Its creator, J E. Phillips, a leading hair specialist, claims to be revealing what multnational companies want kept secret. as this product works without involving cost or drugs or expensive treatments, and works on both men and women.

Betting Horse Race System

Thursday, March 22nd, 2007

I have spent years learning all things I can about both horse betting for a full time income working from home.
You can simply get lost in this area as we all have contrasting opinions of what works and what does not.

I have researched all the wealthy profesional gamblers and became a scholar of their efforts.
I longed-for the unthinkable. I desired a system I could run that would produce a full time income in less than 30 minutes a day.
I did not wish to invest vast amounts of cash, ( this was to become my business not a game)
I also did not want to spend all day making bets…. And I wasn’t happy to pay top rate phone call fees which would dilute profits.

So I combined all the best aspects from all the systems, and studies that I experienced from each one of the reknowned proferssional gamblers which I had studied with my own skills, and produced a ground breaking software program that spits out revenue week after week…My system has worked to the tune of over 12,760 in profit in the past 6 weeks!

Sound unimaginable?

I thought so too, until I started using my creation over and over again and started getting superior and better results. That’s why I think it makes sense to take a closer look.

I have done all the toil and have done it all for you. Just follow the plain and basic directions… observe my entire Video Directions and you will soon be creating AN unheard-of additional INCOME with less time and money than it takes to buy and eat a big Mac and fries!

Diabetes and Diet

Sunday, March 18th, 2007

Eating healthy for persons suffering from diabetes is really no different than for the rest of us.
If you suffer from diabetes, you do not have to organize special meals or purchase particular foods, as you should be eating the same healthy meals as others in your household.

Free Diabetic Supplies

Diabetics should eat predominately high fibre foods from the carbohydrate group including wholegrain bread, cereals, fruit and vegetables. They have to also limit their intake of fat, particularly saturated fat. Restricting the portion size of meals is important to sustain a healthy body weight, and consider consulting a dietitian to develop a healthy eating plan.Eat three regular meals during the day, and restrict the portion size of your food and snacks as too great an amount of food will obviously end up as extra body weight.
Include food containing  carbohydrate as part of every meal , for instance, a serve of pasta, cereal or rice, or potato.
For most persons the total amount of carbohydrate value of each meal should be to be kept within thirty and fifty grams.
Between meals, the carbohydrate capacity of snack should be restricted to twenty grams. For instance, one portion of fruit, a small serve of yoghurt, a small piece of biscuit or cake. Ensure that breads, cake or cereals have in excess of three grams of fibre per one hundred grams.

Choose an assortment of nourishing foods from the primary food groups. (cereals, veges and fruit, dairy goods of the low fat varieties and lean meat. ) and eat plenty of lower kilojoule delights which include salad vegetables.
Refrain from consuming the saturated types of fats that are part of animal foods.
These include full cream milk, cheese butter and ice cream. Also avoid palm and coconut oils, processed meats and fast foods. Eat only limited quantities of unsaturated fats. These include olive, canola and sunflower oils, mono or polyunsaturated margarines, and oily fish, and nuts.

Baked items such as biscuits or cakes and  should be eaten only rarely and in small serves, even when the packaging claims low fat content. Refrain from snacking on lollies, chocolates and soft drinks, and limit consumption of both salt and alcohol.

Following this healthy eating plan will help diabetics control blood glucose levels and enhance general health. Blood lipid levels will be normalised, with subsequent improvement in blood pressure and body weight.
Most importantly, the chance of complications of the disease will be greatly diminished.

How To Backup Data

Monday, March 5th, 2007
Whether you operate a one person home business or a multi national corportion, you must know how to back up data.
You can simply recover from either a hard drive crash, system crashes, file corruption, virus, hackers, surges, lightning, theft etc.
I used to do it randomly to disc, but now I have it done automatically  every night.

I can recommend Remote Data Backups which automatically performs nightly backups using your existing Internet connection to two mirrored data centers. The data centers are both top of the line and the data is encrypted with 128 AES Encryption.”

Data is stored in encrypted format at our two mirrored, Telco-class data centers with redundant bandwidth and multiple providers. No one can access your data without your Personal Encryption Key, not even us.

This is a must service for all owners. The process is easy, inexpensive and will save you time when you have a systems crash like I did.

Check out the many testimonials from satisfied clients such as:

“With this inexpensive service, my computer info is backed up automatically every night. If anything ever happens again, in the morning I’ll retrieve the backed up info and not lose a beat.”

How to Play Keyboard Music

Saturday, December 23rd, 2006

If you can cope with not being up front on lead guitar, then keyboard music could be the way to go.

I had been playing guitar for years, but I was really getting sick of it.  It’s not the guitar that I don’t like, but the whole culture that goes around it.  There is a certain attitude that almost all guitar players have, and that they are expected to have.  If you are not brash, swaggering, self-centered, and obsessed with showing off, no one wants you to play guitar in a rock band.  I was done with it all.  I wanted to take up the music keyboard.

I got myself a nice, high end Casio keyboard to start off with.  It was not top notch, but it was pretty close.  But once I had it set up, had fiddled around for a while, and was ready to actually start studying, I realized some of the problems that keyboard music has.

If you play guitar music, you can just pick up your favorite rock songs and learn to play that way.  If, on the other hand, you play keyboard music, it is not that simple.  Almost all keyboard players out there study classically at one point or another.  A lot of the most popular keyboard music, in fact, is taken directly from the classics.  You can not even become a good keyboard musician without formal training.

Of course, the upside of this is that, with a little bit of keyboard music training, you can play almost any rock ‘n roll song ever written.  The keyboard music might sound perplexing to an untrained ear, but to a keyboardist with even a little bit of training, it is all quite obvious and easy.  Of course, if you want to be truly great, you have to study for years, but this is true with any instrument.

Now that I’ve gotten pretty good with keyboard music, I’ve discovered another good thing about not playing guitar.  Absolutely everyone plays guitar, and so it is difficult to distinguish yourself.  People have certain expectations of who guitarists are and what the guitar can do, but few people have actually played with keyboardists in popular music bands.

If you are reasonably good at keyboard music, people will be interested in hearing what you have to say musically.  You have a lot of freedom in the band, even if you don’t get to act as band leader.  All in all, I am happy with the switch to keyboard music, although I do miss being a rock and roll God.
